We are currently hard at work making sure that all necessary safety requirements are in place so that we are ready to start running courses as soon as UK government guidelines permit. As such, we have made changes to our course experiences in order to prioritize the safety of all participants. Some of the changes include:
Additionally, all of our instructors have been trained on COVID-19 safety protocols and will utilize facemasks, gloves, aprons and eye protection as necessary when delivering our courses. Lastly, you are welcome to bring your own equipment or tools from home for use in our courses (i.e. sleeping bags, water bottles, PPE, etc.). If you have any questions about what specific items will be used during your course, please refer to the ‘Joining Instructions’ e-mail which will be sent out to you a few days prior to your course date. You may also e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
While we don’t know the exact date on which we will be allowed to run courses again, we will strive to give you as much advance notice as possible should we need to cancel your course. We will contact you at the e-mail address provided at the time of booking and give you alternative dates for rescheduling. Additionally, we will be happy to issue a voucher if you are unsure about your availability around the new dates provided or if you simply need additional time to decide. Of course, all of these options are at no additional cost to you.
All participants will be required to adhere to BGSA health and safety protocols around COVID-19 which will be explained by our instructors at the start of each course. Additionally, clients will be asked to sign a ‘COVID-19 Acknowledgment of Risk’ form and agree to have temperature checks as prerequisites to participating in any course activities.
Your safety is our top priority and, as such, we will only run courses if we can gain approved location access under local regulations and ensure the health and safety of all participants including BGSA staff. Our goal is to provide you with an unforgettable experience while maintaining the highest standards of safety during this global pandemic. If you have concerns about participating in any of our courses or if feel that you may fall under a ‘clinically vulnerable’ category as defined by UK government guidance, we encourage you to give us a call ASAP at +44 (0) 1438 424 438 or e-mail email@example.com. Rest assured that we are here to support you and are committed to do everything we can to come up with a plan or solution to ensure that you remain safe and healthy.
